The ASUS TUF GAMING A620AM-PLUS, model 90MB1N30-M0EAY0, is a micro ATX motherboard designed around the AMD A620A chipset and Socket AM5 platform. Built for gaming and content-creation systems using compatible AMD Ryzen processors, it supports Ryzen 7000, Ryzen 8000 and Ryzen 9000 series CPUs, with provision for one processor. Its 24.4 cm by 24.4 cm micro ATX format provides a compact foundation for an AM5-based system while incorporating DDR5 memory, PCI Express expansion, M.2 and SATA storage connectivity, integrated audio, display connections and 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet networking.
Four 288-pin DIMM slots provide support for up to 256 GB of DDR5 SDRAM. Memory can operate at speeds reaching 7600 MT/s when overclocked, and the board uses a dual-channel memory architecture. Supported memory characteristics include unbuffered modules together with non-ECC, on-die ECC and ECC integrity checking. AMD EXPO technology is also supported, providing compatibility with the specified AMD memory technology.
Expansion and storage options are designed to accommodate both high-speed solid-state storage and conventional SATA devices. The board has one PCIe 4.0 x16 expansion slot and one PCIe 3.0 x1 slot. Two M.2 sockets are provided, with one accepting 2242, 2260 or 2280 M.2 Key M devices and the second designed for 2280 M.2 Key M hardware.
